A New Adventure

I've finally succumbed and started a blog. Maybe it will just be a public diary of sorts, or maybe it will be a display of creations, though I've not been very creative for awhile. Who knows?
As I write, I'm looking out over the pastures, dotted with grazing horses, some with new foals (feel free to utter an "aah!" here) by their sides.
The clouds are rolling in, probably for another round of nightly thunderstorms, which terrify Ms. Willie, my little schnauzer. No doubt she will be under my chair again, shaking and shivering until all is quiet.
Our small garden is beginning to show signs that it just might yield a morsel or two, hopefully for the humans instead of the wildlife, who have already helped themselves to most of the strawberries.
In the breeze, a mockingbird is singing his repetoire, with other birds trilling backup. The aroma of honeysuckle hangs in the air.
These are my surroundings. Could be worse.
